DE LEON SPRINGS, Florida – An 18-year-old Altoona woman was killed in a head-on crash around 8:45 p.m. Saturday night, according to a Florida Highway Patrol press release.
Lily Gonzalez was driving a 2000 Toyota Avalon eastbound on State Road 40 when a westbound 2012 Ford Fiesta being driven by Savannah Sizemore traveled into her lane. Sizemore, 30, of Bunnell hit Gonzalez head on, killing both women.
The crash remains under investigation.
